Description:

This bird was spotted in Kruger National Park, South Africa.

Habitat:

Its preferred habitat is dry thornveld where it spends long periods perched at the top of thorn trees or poles, watching for food items such as insects, spiders, scorpions and small lizards on the ground.

surely a Rufous-crowned Roller the black line behind the eye ,the beak,the slight greenish patch behind the neck are all suggestive
