Papilio glaucus

Description:

The male Eastern tiger swallowtail is yellow with four black "tiger stripes" on each fore wing. Females may be either yellow or black, making them dimorphic. The yellow morph is similar to the male, while the dark morph is almost completely black.

Added to Animals with Warning Colors mission. The black morph of the eastern tiger swallowtail & other species such as the Spicebush swallowtail & the red-spotted purple mimic the poisonous Pipevine swallowtail.
