Awww next time I'll try to get pictures of them en masse, and they're hopefully still there.
How wonderful for you. They are a Southwestern species so I only get to see them in pictures.
Thank you so much Keith! These things were on every mushroom I saw yesterday, and now I know.
The beetle in the lower left corner is a Pleasing Fungus Beetle - Gibbifer californicus.
