Long-legged Fly

Condylostylus mundus

Description:

This bright blue fly is so very small! He is sitting on a scarlet milkweed leaf and is no bigger than the ladybugs. There is another, but she has proven more difficult to photograph. My camera may be having trouble picking up the female goldish green coloration against these leaves.

Habitat:

Spotted in a sunny yard in the Tropical South, Gulf coast of FL, USA.
