Florida Redbelly Turtle

Description:

The turtles in this pond were very active while I was taking pictures. The Florida Redbelly Turtle shows the red markings across his carapace.

Habitat:

Aquatic with prolific vegetation. This one was noted in a small pond near a bayou.
