Smooth-Fingered Narrow-Mouthed Frog

Kaloula baleata

Description:

Non-endemic; common; snout to vent length of 26-48mm; small to moderate sized microhylid frog. This frog is secretive, burrowing under rotting vegetation and often climbs vegetation.

Habitat:

usually seen near human habitations; terrestrial - arboreal; nocturnal

Notes:

what I like about this frog was their ability to make their size bigger by bulging (as seen in the picture). They were like puffer fish when they were in danger.
