Harpactes ardens
We got this handsome trogon during our field sample at Mt. Balatukan, Gingoog, Misamis Oriental, Philippines.
Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
This is one of my favorite birds. Although they were so fragile. We then release it after we got its biometrics and after we tag it.
