Crested jay with bold white spots on wings and tail. Black necklace with grayish white belly. Larger than a robin.

Habitat:

Oak and pine woods, towns, and feeders.

Notes:

This is SE Idaho and this bird is a rarity around here. What an enjoyable spotting. My first one ever and right in my back yard.
