Description:

Nutria or Coypu appears like a beaver (some people say it resembles a large rat) - same colour and same size - except for the tail which is long and round.

Habitat:

Seen in protected wetlands, salty marshlands of Sené. The marshes of Sené are 530 hectares of protected salty marshlands (spectacular spot really), situated in coastal area of Morbihan, Brittany.

Notes:

Nutria or Coypu is an introduced species and is considered invasive and an important pest. All European populations are descendants of escapees from fur ranches
