Description:

Large (10.5') & sturdy with yellowish legs. Usually seen with pale nonbreeding plumage. The juvenile's are brighter (photos 1-3). Often seen near Ruddy Turnstones & Black-bellied Plovers.

Habitat:

Sandy beaches: Siesta Key beach

Notes:

I would love to see one in breeding plumage.
