Yellow and brown lichen that had the appearance of little cobblestones as the name suggests. I believe the white and gray one in the fourth photo is just one that died.

Yes you should! We were able to fit a lot of fun in one day and go to Armstrong Redwoods and Bodega Bay in the same day because they aren't too far apart.
