Southern Lapwing

Description:

Long red legs and a peacock kind of shoulder patch like an epaulet or something. Red eye patch and has a bib in front.

Habitat:

Iguazu Falls

Wikipedia says The southern lapwing is the national bird of Uruguay, and one of the symbols of the Brazilian state Rio Grande do Sul. In India I have seen 2 other species of Lapwings.
