Black beetle about 5 mm long with red stripes from the pronotum, tapering along the elytra.
Goldenbush in chaparral. Found in the Southwestern US and northern Mexico.

Thank you Hema. Unfortunately I don't know much about this one. It's a first for me and the reference links I find don't mention anything. I just know the plant it was on which is mentioned.
