The larger bumble bee was a new queen, whereas this one is either a worker or a male (I'm tending toward male because of the longer-than-usual antennae).
This bee was spotted on the same flowers as the other bumble bee, but this one was much smaller. That is why I am confused.

Bumble, probably the common eastern (B. impatiens).
