Leafhopper

Coelidia olitoria

Description:

The orange one looks like a grasshopper nymph. And the brown one, maybe some kind of leaf hopper? The leaf insect was only 1/2 inch. I was taking a few photos of the leaf insect when someone got curious. It was real funny. (Trying to locate my other photos)

Habitat:

Meadow in the Poconos

For a minute, I thought the grasshopper was a spider and I was ready to say Dum te dumdum! Like your story I think Grasshopper, Jr. just wanted in on the picture!
