Found this crab on a rainy day in a puddle of water. It was having a meal
High altitude tropical rain forest
Although this species is not listed in the endangered list, but its possibly an undescribed species which could also be rare. I have changed the location to Manila, Philippines to avoid disclosing the exact location.

Thanks again, @Zariga for the kind comments and trying to help with the ID :)
Oh, I see. Then i guess I wasn't of much help, I'm sorry. My knowledge on crabs isn't that great.
Either way, nice work capturing that one on camera. It's attractive colours forced me to click on your spotting. Great finding :)
Thanks, @Zariga. The crabs in the articles you shared are from Palawan and endemic to Palawan island, so its likely not the same.
The Crab in this spotting is from the North of Luzon, up in the mountains, around 1,600 masl. I have seen them many time before, peering out from their home but difficult to get pictures of them. However, this time, it was raining the whole day and there were puddles of water and this one was out having a meal.
Naturally, this is a fresh water crab, as it is too far away from the sea, even for them to migrate to spawn.
I randomly found these articles:

Might that crab be like the ones on the pictures?
