Morpho epistrophus
At first, looking from some distance, it seemed to be a fruit or a flower. Very strange, for it would be the only one in the whole tree. When I got closer, it struck me...

Yes, Karen, persistence is my middle name. And lucky is the last one. Actually I was looking for something completely different, when I found a picture of these babies... and their name!!! : D
Well done Sergio - persistence pays off! It is a beautiful butterfly too!
Finally I got an ID for these beauties. And the butterfly is nice too, as you can see in the link bellow:

Yikes! That certainly screams "don't touch"!
Donne, Ashish.
Welcome...
You think similarly like about Red colour... So its reason for you to assign this spotting for Colour Red Mission.
Ashish, I think you are right. The problem is that damn red color... :) I'll Id it as Euchates sp. for now, if I discover more about it I'll update. Thank you.
What a great spotting!!
Mostly Arctiidae family moth's caterpillar. Genus mostly like Euchaetes.
Yes Ashish, it really does. I still coudn't find an exact match yet, but I'm still trying. I think I'm going to show it to a local expert.
Its look like mobbing Tussock moth caterpillars....
Thank you Ceherzog and KarenL
