Description:

Dark blue with a translucent to whitish tail, changes to yellow with maturity. Brilliant blue dots over the body and fins.

Habitat:

Hunting Caye, Belize Reef tops; juveniles often inhabit areas of fire coral.

Notes:

Juveniles often inhabit areas of fire coral on reef tops. Juveniles sometimes called jewelfish because of bright blue dots.
