House Sparrow

Passer domesticus

Description:

At first it seemed like the bush was alive, and then I realized there was simply a multitude of chubby, brown sparrows inside. These birds had little fear of humans, though I didn't get too close for fear of being mobbed.

Habitat:

Boston Common. Cold, dry, breezy.
