Eublemma perversicolor
A brown moth (Lepidoptera) that mimics small dry leaf. Wingspan less than 3 cm / 30mm. Thanks to 57Andrew, I now know that the species is Eublemma perversicolor.
Forest hill of Kinabalu National Park, Kundasang, Sabah, Malaysia.
Just saw it and took one picture of it. Luckily the photo turned out to be quite good. >>>Map accuracy : 500m diameter.
Thanks for sharing that mission link.
I hope the mission can also accept organism pictures from outside it's mission radius.
Take a look to this new mission:

Who agrees with the species Eublemma perversicolor ?

If you look carefully at the moth, you might see "fingerprints" on the wings.
I think the base background color doesn't matter because many moths vary in shades of color. I think it's a match. I'm still looking for its species name but without luck. Bill Bell didn't know it either. They do not occur in Southern Australia. I think that's the best I can do.
I'm not very good in moths and butterfly but I have to admit that the moth in the link has a lot of little details similar to my spotting.
So they must be very closely related.
