Description:

A fairy large bird has the distinctive white feather on its throat. Is a nectar feeder.

Habitat:

Generally on the verge of the bush, often seen in trees that flower heavily. When the Kowhai flowers Tui are often there in mass behaving like a bunch of bickering drunks.
