Description:

Rather Large fungi a Bloete, edible and we did eat them, Have pores underneath and the top is often wet and slippery hence the name. It pays to peel these ones otherwise they are slimy.

Habitat:

Beside a number of pine tree's in Ivon Wilson park. There were a lot of these in the park but usually in the damper areas.

interesting. The color is the same as the ones I spotted today and those were under a pine tree too.
