Tachinid Fly

Tachinidae

Description:

A large, bristly fly with red abdomen and black thorax.

Habitat:

Found on an unidentified clump of yellow flowers.

Notes:

I took many photos of this fly but these were the best pics I got. The fly was moving rapidly and the bright sun made it difficult to see if I was in focus etc. Too bad it was a beauty.
