Peltigera neopolydactyla
Grayish green lichen also known as Dog lichen.
Frog pelt lichen, Peltigera pacifica, is found from coastal Alaska to Oregon, rarely inland to northern Idaho. It appears to be widespread in the Olympic Mountains in Washington, and is found less commonly along the western Cascades in Washington. The orange structures are its fruiting bodies called apothecia.
Found growing at the base of a cottonwood tree.
