Saw these California Blackberry plants on the forest ground hiking on the North Trail going towards the Pygmy Forest in Salt Point State Park, CA.

Thanks Rachel--the flower is similar to a blackberry, but you are correct, the leaves look like a strawberry. I have not found a species that matches both.
