Description:

Wings orange basally, changing to black posteriorly. The forewing's inner margin is also black.Antennae and legs black. A mimic of Lycid beetles.

This species is found during late spring and early summer. This species may have its own chemical defenses. Found at Barbara A. Beiser Field Station.
