Near Threatened (IUCN 3.1) • Endemic to the Philippines. The largest Philippine hornbill, told from smaller Writhed and much smaller Tarictic by uniform cinnamon buff tail with no black bands. Noisy, calls periodically with one or more deep resonating kawww or aawww while perched or in flight with many birds calling simultaneously.
