Warbling Vireo

Vireo gilvus

Description:

A vireo species found across the United States and southern Canada during the summer, migrating to Central America for winter. This bird is found mostly in deciduous forest, where it feeds on insects. In fall, berries are added to the diet, as shown by the individuals I saw feeding on the fruit of a Chinese pistache.
