Octopus laqueus
A juvenile Octopus, possibly Octopus laqueus (not definitely certain with the ID) seen during a night dive in the black water column. Its body size is around 2 cm.
Embryos hatch into planktonic stage and live for some time before they grow larger and take up a benthic existence as adults.
