Blue-faced Honeyeater

Entomyzon cyanotis

Description:

A large honeysucker with a yellowish green back, a white breast and bright blue around the eye. It was feeding on these native flowers. It only landed on this branch for a second, then flew off.

Habitat:

A local Park in a coastal area of Northern NSW. This bird has a large range, open forests, woodlands close to water, mangroves and coastal heathlands, orchards, farm land, parks and gardens
