Habitat:

Eastern US to Canada and Caribbean parks, gardens, fields, etc. Larvae feed mostly on pea family shrubs such as Acacia, Baptisia, Genista, Lupinus, Texas Mountain Laurel (Sophora secundiflora) and others.

Notes:

Found on Coonty at a butterfly garden but near many Pea Shrubs it may have fallen or wondered off its main plant.
