Daddy long-legs with eggs

Pholcus phalangioides

Description:

A long legged spider with a body about 10mm long. Abdomen appeared cylindrical, grey in colour with a pale patches. Carrying with its mouth parts was a clump of grey-pink translucent eggs - the ball size being 3 -4 mm.

Habitat:

Decking outside house

Notes:

This is the first spider I've seen carrying the eggs. The egg mass looked like a solitary berry of some sort.....
