A humble pigeon found cooing in a city park. Feral pigeons can show a variety of plumages. They are issued of a cross between escapee domestic pigeons and rock pigeons, but some have the same double-barred pattern as the pure rock pigeon. The pure wild species is often found in mountain regions.
A park in the center of Paris. Feral pigeons are found in large numbers in cities and towns all over the world.
A distinctive white cere is located on top of the pigeon’s beak.

Thank you Sachin!
Nice Picture,
Thanks Karen! I have similar memories and photos!
Lovely photo! I agree with Antonio, growing up in London meant getting close to nature for me as a kid meant feeding the pigeons in Trafalgar Square! I have many happy memories & quite a few photos! :)
I wholeheartedly agree with you António! Thank you for your thoughtful comment.
Lovely Daniele,i think that humble animals and plants are sometimes even gorgeous than the wild species,of course that for noah is "better"(more mainstreem:) wild organisms, but as we say in Portugal(a very old saying)"who dont have a dog to hunt, hunt whith a cat",it's my case,i live mostely in urban places, only the times in times i go to the wild field,so i began to spott every thing arroun me and i discover that beauty is spread allover,in our yards in the streets,in the walls, under the rocks,in the sides of the roads,etc:-) so my congratulations for spotting this Humble pigeon so beautiful as a proud eagle:-)
Thank you Gerardo!
