Cool shot Mauna. And I also agree with you. S. acuta has red dots on the back edge and corners of their wings which yours doesn't. They are very similar.

Hi Ornithoptera80! Thanks for the suggestion, but I’m not sure if S. acuta matches. I was looking at an Acanaloniid planthopper, Acanalonia conica, which appears visually similar:
