Whooper Swan

Cygnus cygnus

Description:

The Whooper Swan are about 200-230 cm across its wings, and are powerful fliers.

Habitat:

Cut and paste from Wikipedia: "Whooper swans can migrate many hundreds of miles to their wintering sites in northern Europe and eastern Asia. They breed in subarctic Eurasia, further south than Bewicks in the taiga zone."

Notes:

I'm usually quite happy and satisfied with the simple Nikon Coolpix L18 pocket cam that I use for photographing. But at times like these I wish I had better equipment...
