Horned Powder-post Beetle

Lichenophanes bicornis

Description:

Smaller beetle with elongated abdomen. Rough texture. Mottled brown coloration. Humped appearance to protonum with two small hornlike projections off of the front. Fairly short antennae. Perhaps a type of Ironclad Beetle?

Habitat:

Suburban yard. Attracted to a blacklight.
