This series shows different stages of maturity. #1 is a juvenile (lacks plumes & shows bluish grey at base of lower mandible, yellow feet & back of legs) #2 & 3 Adult in high breeding plumage (reddish lores & feet, longer plumes) # 4 & 5 breeding plumage (yellow lores & feet, shorter plumes)
