Iduna caligata
Small, soft gray colour. Rather nondescript.
We were walking down a hilly trail. On one side was a trout farm. This bird had apparently taken a dip in the inflow channel and was now sitting on a pole...it kept preening and preening. Just got a couple of shots where it is not moving.
Cropped it so that an ID may be easier to get. Help, please.
Hi again. I put in an "official" ID suggestion just so others can confirm the ID by +1 if they'd like. Thanks Sukanya.
Hi Sukanya. Every now and then I try to dig up the ID on an older spotting. I've been digging around on this for awhile. I'm coming up with a "possible" of Booted Warbler (Iduna caligata). I found a similar one here: https://books.google.com.ec/books?id=mzu...
Also the little picture at top right of this site: https://ebird.org/species/boowar1
Just a guess but didn't want to do nothing with what I've found :-)
