Golden Pheasant

Notes:

The free-flight aviary at the Tamworth Marsupial Park yielded many surprises, not the least of which was this Golden Pheasant. Native to China, this specimen was about a metre long from beak to tail. Shots 4 & 5 show the rather remarkable agility and elegance of this otherwise unwieldy-looking bird, as well as its beautiful tail feathers!
