Flat jumper

Simaethula sp.

Description:

I've seen a few of these in the past week. A tiny jumping spider resembling 2 flatish disks of brown leather hinged together. Very alert and always trying to sneak around the other side of a stem. Very cute. About 6mm long.

Habitat:

On a Eucalyptus microcarpa in an outer urban back yard.
