Paropsis bella (or P. porosa?)
This pale leaf beetle is sometimes common on eucalyptus. It has regular puncturation over the entire elytra and the pores filled in black. The base yellow/green color on the skirt and pronotum makes it a rather pretty beetle. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/133...
Common on eucalyptus saplings along the roadside.
I am not sure how to distinguish this from porosa which apprears to be less colorful. The determination of P. bella originates from Chris Reid and is likely to be correct. I am playing with a new macro lens MP-E 65mm for Canon used for this shot.
