Owlet Moth

Thanks ArgyBee! We're a house on a hillside with only 1 distant neighbour. So we're pretty lucky: in the evening any moths (etc) that are around, come to visit us! :-)

That's a fantastic find Annvan and lovely photos too. Looking across your collection I can see what you mean about your house attracting visitors. So many are on walls and screens. :)

It seems to be low moth season around here at the moment, so this colourful moth was a very welcome sight! :-)

Could this be another Snouted Tiger Moth (e.g. Euplocia membliaria)? Or a Specious Tiger Moth (Asota speciosa)?
