Urocissa ornate
The sexes are alike, and about 42-47 cm in length. The mature (adults) birds are blue with a chestnut head and wings, and a long blue tail with white tips. The legs and bill are red. The colouring in these birds brighten as they mature, hence the younger birds are duller in colour.
