Sculpin Scorpionfish

Description:

This unusual Scorpionfish was extremely well camouflaged, the red only appearing so bright when the flash was used. It had an extraordinary long tail.

Maybe, also the fact that it sat on the bottom - more like a scorpionfish than a lionfish, but the fins are very lionfish like!

It sure is unusually slender. Maybe it's a mutant, or malnourished...?
