This unusual Scorpionfish was extremely well camouflaged, the red only appearing so bright when the flash was used. It had an extraordinary long tail.

It's a sculpin/ scorpeonfish
it's beautiful!
Could it be a whole different species? Interesting!
Maybe, also the fact that it sat on the bottom - more like a scorpionfish than a lionfish, but the fins are very lionfish like!
It sure is unusually slender. Maybe it's a mutant, or malnourished...?
