Rainbow Lorikeets

Trichoglossus haematodus

Notes:

Series of shots of Rainbow Lorikeets in our neighbour's African Tulip tree. These are gorgeous birds - I had trouble choosing which photo to put first! It was nice to see them feeding in the wild too (although they are probably helping to spread the African Tulip which is a Class 3 declared pest in Queensland).
