Thank you Reza Hashemizadeh. I'm looking forward to the babies and future pictures
Ron Good points. These grow directly in the sand in the beach. Bad shot, I agree. Not my typical nor typical to take only one. Took with cell. I'll keep a look out and see if they are around still. This was in March so I think they should still be there and in bloom still.
Nice shot. Good clear details that makes one appreciate it.
I go to Green Cay and Wakodahatchee regularly (I live in Boynton too). Cant seem to get Painted bunting shots.
Great shots... I'm jealous.
odd flower. An essential part of the Solanaceous/nightshade family is the 5 petal like flower. Too bad you cant see it now and break a leaf or two and see if it has a very strong smell typical of these. Also small fruit clusters, red, purple, black-like and combinations.
This is an African variety of Stachys. In the USA we have Stachys olympica or Lamb's ear. Very soft to the touch with a rather attractive purple flower stalk, just like this one. I looked up several but couldn't find a great match. I'm gonna go with S. ehrenbergii
Thank you @staccyh I love to do series shots. I'd venture to say nearly all of my posting are series. I think they are fun.
Thank you, @Selma. I did you too. Thought the fungi and mushrooms were interesting. I never kn0ow much about them so I will take more pictures now that I know someone who knows them.
