dissection of the genitalia necessary here - this could be G. pardale, or G. philippinensis, or one of several other Gastropacha species in the pardale complex.
"snout" moth, eh.
confusing when there are other, not closely related, moth taxa also referred to as snout moths (e.g. Pyralidae and some Hypeninae of Erebidae)
The dangers of mis-communication with vernaculars is evident here.
and the tag - Apona cashmirensis is likely correct, though placement in Lasiocampidae is not - Apona is placed in Eupterotidae (see, e.g. BOLD, Moths of Borneo part 3, moths of Japan)

Of the five almost identical species in the G. pardale group, only pardale has been found in Hong Kong. the observation is of the female.
any pale green Palpita like species with unmarked abdomens are likely to be Stemorrhages sp.
agree with H. vaneeckei; though only after checking the print version of Moths of Borneo !
agree this is a Lista sp.
There is a publication on the Chinese species published in 2017 - lots of very similar looking species.
N. carissima and N. muelleri are superficially similar in pattern. However, males of N. carissima have a distinct lobe on the inner margin of the hindwing that contains scent scales that is not present in N. muelleri.
So far only N. carissima, of these two species, has been recorded in Hong Kong.
In my Ph.D. thesis on 2002, the species N. carissima was misidentified (and mis-spelt) as N. mulleri (sic.)
one must be careful with spellings of patronyms when "non standard" characters (in this case the "u" with an umlaut) are involved.
identification with the caveat that the Hong Kong specimens retained have not been dissected to confirm if it is C. histricalis or the very similar C. pubescens.
Both could occur in HK.
