The Great also has contrasting colour on the wing, however the tail does not look like the Common Black Hawk. Are you sure?
This guy tolerated us for all of about 2 minutes then decided to go on the offensive!

Probably not a molting male, as I have seen a bunch of the adult males around, and I assume they will all be molting at the same time.
This bird was definitely photographed close to wetland (rice field) areas. However it does not look very similar to the Yellow-hooded blackbird on Wikipedia. Could it possibly be a juvenile? http://www.oiseaux-birds.com/card-yellow...
