Synonycha grandis (Thunberg, 1781).
This Giant Bamboo Ladybird was spotted, in the rice mill backyard, crawling on the branches of a Spiny Bamboo (Bambusa blumeana), locally known as Kawayan Tinik. I have only seen a few of these Giant Bamboo Ladybirds and they have all been on this particular clump of Spiny Bamboo.
