Description:

Another nice jewel beetle found on ti-tree flowers today. This one a little larger than most at about 15mm.

Habitat:

On Leptospermum scoparium in a local nature reserve.

Notes:

Ok Doc.. I'll change them.
When looking through any collection for a certain species it is very annoying to force opening a spotting to find the 'important' name.

Mark, we should not double the scientific name in the common name field. I suggest to take Jewel Beetle or Scalaris Jewel Beetle as common name, also for the other ones you posted.
